延長展期兩個禮拜，至5月15日！謝謝大家來看攝影展
謝謝大家來看攝影展，
也謝謝給我的鼓勵!
攝影展期的最後兩個禮拜，
很多朋友告訴我來不及來看，
因此跟樂盒子老闆們討論後決定延長兩個禮拜的展期，展至5月15日。
歡迎大家有空來看看。
攝影展為免費入場，
下午四點開始到晚上十點(周末假日營業更晚)，建議看展的時間為晚上六點到十點間，
想一起用餐的朋友建議先預約，
不用餐可來杯檸檬啤酒或是Sangria西班牙水果酒，
想來的朋友們都歡迎找我一起去，那邊我喝不膩也吃不膩。
因展認識了更多喜歡傳統攝影跟銀鹽放相的朋友，
每次看到有人駐足在木盒前看著相紙測試條和作品；
或有人因為看到消息的轉貼或是平面刊物的訊息而來；

黑白色的旋律─音樂‧Rolleiflex‧ 黑白銀鹽 李宜璇攝影展
展覽明天開始，下午兩點到四點有開幕小party，誠心歡迎不管是對我的作品，或是傳統攝影有興趣(或是美食:P)的朋友一起來玩！展期自明天開始到4月30日，歡迎大家來體驗黑白銀鹽之美。交通方式請見本文章最下面。
展覽規模雖不大，每一張作品從拍攝，沖片、挑選，初步放像，再經過一次一次的修改，最後裝裱，全都由我自己完成，每一張都投注了很多的心意。今天布置場地時，再是省視一遍，儘管這些影像我已經看過千遍萬遍，經過暗房手工在銀鹽相紙上放大的影像，依不同場地、光線、角度，都給予不同的感受。每次看我都要讚嘆一下發明這些技術的偉大前人，還有不停推廣這個領域的前輩們，希望更多人能喜歡手工銀鹽跟傳統攝影。
在展示現場我想呈現相紙的質感，因此我將放像過程中使用的"測試條"，也就是小尺寸的相紙，透過控制不同的曝光條件，來決定不同程度的顯像，再從中挑選中意的，再做全尺寸的放大。這些試條幾乎全來自於本次放像過程，相紙上不完整且明暗、對比皆不相同的影像，挺有趣味，請大家親手感覺它們。
明天的開幕小party，我挑選了一位我很喜歡的藝術家的音樂。一開始愛上黑白攝影就是因為他與吉姆賈木許導演合作的黑白電影。
最後很感謝朋友和家人們的幫助，在很多專業上給我意見，並且幫助我完成。

Yi-Hsuan Lee’s project Music, Rolleiflex and silver print use the most traditional way in photography: analog and silver hand prints, to explore the music and culture scenes in contemporary Taiwan.
As the title revealed, the images in the exhibition are photographed by the Rolleiflex and printed by the artist herself in a darkroom. The relatively intimate way of printing has added the extra personal touch to the project, which can be traced to the dust shown on the surface. At the same time, Lee has created a nostalgia atmosphere; the camera and the darkroom are like a time machine, bringing the present back to the past, triggering the viewers’ curiosity toward the age of the photographs. In the era of digitalization, the tribute to the past from the new generation is more precious.
As a Taiwanese cultural worker, Lee photographed the back stage and private life of the indie musicians, discovering the other side of the story we don’t usually see on the stage, describing the contemporary music industry in Taiwan in a very pure and honest perspective. The clean and static images here show the quiet female gaze without any stereotypical, exaggerated language and rhetoric.

我從觀景窗看世界,並且藉由攝影表達我對生活的觀點。
過去八年中,我幸運地能夠旅行各處，到許多台灣美麗的地方、阿根廷、泰國島嶼以及倫敦城市攝影，並在我的生活中經驗不同的事物。這段期間內我持續以攝影分享我的觀點和感受。
我在10歲時擁有第一台玩具塑膠相機，我自玩具店將尚未組裝的DIY組合相機買下，再自行組裝成相機。這台相機讓我能以小孩的視界拍攝照片。接著大學時我開始向留日攝影家謝明順學習傳統攝影。他的創作論點深刻地影響我─攝影者必須在攝影作品裡存在，意思為成為一個攝影者而不單是一個攝影機持有者、攝影作品需要展現攝影者的想法而非單純地反射擷取影像。我自那時開始嘗試透過影像表達想法。
開始攝影時，我使用的是父親年輕時使用的CANON AE1P機械單眼相機，它曾跟著我一起在台灣以及赴阿根廷旅行時拍攝了百捲底片。接著我開始接觸數位單眼相機，以讓我能更快速且即時的捕捉我喜愛的瞬間，以及作為商業攝影用途。數位單眼相機使得拍攝過程更為快速，且更容易進行後製。

I see this world behind the eye of the camera,and present my views of life in photograph.
In the last 8 years,I have been privileged to travel and experience different thing in my life.I had been travel in beautiful places of Taiwan , Argentina ,Thailand and London,In this period,I never stop share my view by photograph.
I had my first plastic toy camera when I was 10.I bought that from a toy store and I fabricated it into a camera by my self.From that camera I took some photograph by eyes of child.And start to learn traditional photograph in University from artist Shie Min Suen.He changed my view of photograph by his concept“The mind of photographer have to exist in the photograph works”.It means that “be a artist,not a camera holder”---A great photo needs to shows the idea of the photographer,not only reflect the scene.From this time I start to present my view by photograph.
I had used the camera from my father,Canon AE1P, as my first single lens reflex camera,for 5 years.I used it when I traveled in Argentina with positive film.
Later I have my first digital camera to capture the scene more immediate and after-effected more easy.This period I make thousands of photos for recording and for commercial photograph.Digital camera let me capture the moment more easier.
Since 2009,I got my favorite camera,Rolleiflex 2.8C,and start to discover the life with this vintage camera.After I have been privileged to meet a lot of artist and musicians.Their views changed my mind.I want to convey my idea and emotion in pure and original way.
After that time,I realize that traditional photograph is the most original way to express my idea and feeling.I create in every part and enjoy in all the process.In order to create my works completely,I use silver gelatin printing in darkroom by my own.Adjust every works by specific purpose.And also the silver gelatin printing blends my emotion and the image together on paper.
I used to works as a commercial photograph assistant,and now I work as a planer at a creativity website and never stop share views in photograph of my life.

This indie-photography exhibition highlights the photographs of Yi-Hsuan Lee.
The concept of this project is to explore the lifestyle of contemporary Taiwanese indie-musicians by using the traditional photographic approach.
In order to pay tribute to the traditional photography, all the images here are photographed by analogue camera - Rolleiflex, 2.8C., and printed in gelatin silver process in the darkroom manually.
Restaurant "La Caja de Musica "emphasize that “savor Spanish” by offering cuisine, vintage wine.
The concept of this project is to explore the lifestyle of contemporary Taiwanese indie-musicians by using the traditional photographic approach.
In order to pay tribute to the traditional photography, all the images here are photographed by analogue camera - Rolleiflex, 2.8C., and printed in gelatin silver process in the darkroom manually.

One piece of photograph shows the beach of Dulan
This secret beach locates behind woods. This picture shoot in a lovely day with beautiful sunshine , clouds , waves and stones. Those musician take inspiration from the sea. They sing here and live here in their own way. They make original handmade musical instruments by local material. And they play music in field and sing on the beach.

About the camera: Roleiflex 2.8c
Rolleiflex 2.8C made in Germany
Rolleiflex is a vintage camera using 120 films and with excellent quality lens. Those reasons give the image unique personality.
Because of the camera is not equipped with Light meter systems, I measure the exposure value by myself without light meter. In order to capture the moment, I don’t like measure by light meter. I usually measure by experience. Some film may not exposure perfectly, but I can develops in darkroom in my way.
About Silver Gelatin Darkroom Printing
All photograph of this exhibition printed by manual in darkroom.
Because of controlling different mount of exposure and contract,all photo have there own personality.
Most of photograph I developed on fiber-based paper. The image on fiber-based paper shows the unique texture by paper material.In order to present another way,some photograph I developed on resin-coated paper and dyeing to brown tone.
Some photo exposure not enough in camera shooting,so I need develop in extreme way by high contract and low exposure.But for that reason those photos give viewers rough but pure feeling.And some photograph exposure one more time behind paper,so appears special effect.
In short,silver gelatin darkroom printing is a irreplaceable way to present image in vintage way.and also appears more gradation.
